The 'plunger' is dirty

Remove the plunger (silicone balloon that goes down over the slide, behind the door) from the device. It is easier to let the plunger go down first (Setting-Plunger). Clean the plunger with water or ethanol 70% and dry it. It is advisable to continue with the spare plunger from the case and change plunger each time.

The 'slide insertion port and/or the diffusion plate' is dirty
This is due to inaccurate work, blood or serum has entered the device via the black part of the slide. The diffusion plate can be removed to clean with water or ethanol 70%. To do this, press the 2 black tabs towards each other.

Failed to read the QR code.

On the back of the slide is a QR code that is read by the QR camera. This is behind the door, under the glass at the bottom. This can also be cleaned with a damp cloth with water or 70% ethanol.

'Part of ch could not be detected'

In the slide under the sieve there are channels where an enzymatic reaction takes place. This is necessary to ultimately perform a spectrophotometric measurement. This error message means that these channels are not filled because the plunger cannot push the blood through the sieve.

Possible causes are:

  • heparin blood is not swirled enough before pipetting
  • serum blood is not centrifuged enough
  • sample is too cold
  • sample not pipetted accurately onto the slide
  • insufficient sample pipetted onto the slide
  • heparin sample is too viscous (hematocrit too high), especially in dehydrated animals, it is recommended to centrifuge the heparin sample first in these cases.
Data cannot be sent because there is no WiFi connection
Make sure the device is set on time (Setting Time) and that there is sufficient Wi-Fi coverage.

The device does not stay on time

The internal battery that controls the time is empty. Plug the device into a power outlet and switch on the power button on the back. After 3 days, the battery will be fully recharged. It is not necessary to turn on the device using the button on the right side.
